With increased awareness of the need to support local families through Community Sharing food pantry it is the plan to resurrect the Feed a Family food drive in February 2018. The donations to the pantry slow down after the end of year and holidays. Let’s show our community that Huron Valley has ❤️. First meeting November 30 at 7 PM at Comeback Inn. The truck has been delivered to the Y by Sellers Auto Group. Next steps . . . come to the Y for the Bring a Can Kick Your Can Workout Event. Decorate the Truck on Friday for the parade and pray that our community will think of others during this holiday season and bring food to the truck. You can drop off at the Y, bring to the parade or come on down to the Open House on Dec 4th in MIlford. Help other people with HOPE. Help Other People through Encouragement.

The truck has arrived. Thank you to Sellers for once again providing the truck. Tomorow we wil pick up the food that has been left at the Carls Family YMCA, we will get it ready for the parade, and we will have it around town for the next two weeks. Doin't forget to bring your non perishable food items to the parade so you can give Community Sharing's pantry a boost. They need all of the help they can get, from cans of soup to paper products. Food can still be dropped off at the Y !

Walgreen's in Highland, Hartland and Milford will be collecting food for the Feed a Family Fill a Truck campaign. Thing about your friends in the community, which ones are you willing to let go hungry this holiday season? If your answer is the same as mine, it is none. Make sure to participate to reach out to others.

Watch for our flyers! Join the Milford Rotary, Carls Family YMCA, and Milford Marching Band as they launch their 4th annual food drive to support Community Sharing. Food drop off locations are the Carls Family YMCA, Huron Valley State Bank (both Highland and Milford), 5/3rd Bank in Milford and selected Walgreen locations. Further information will follow with exciting stops for the food truck.
