We were proud to support autism response training for local first responders and law enforcement through a grant from the Barbara J. Buchanan Fund at Greater Pike Community Foundation.

Hosted by Pike Autism Support Services of NEPA, Inc. and the Milford Fire Department Milford, CT, the training provided practical strategies for communicating with individuals on the autism spectrum, de-escalating stressful situations, and creating safer interactions during emergencies.

Thank you to PASS, the Milford Fire Department, and all the first responders who participated in this important training. Together, we're helping build a safer, more informed community for everyone.
