Joey Nickels Joey Nickels is an 12 year old boy who loves to read. He is on a mission to collect recycled cans an Joey will donate 2 cents for every bottle he collects.

Joey is an 8 year old boy who loves to read and play basketball. He is on a mission to collect recycled cans and bottles to donate a portion of his profits to the Literacy Volunteers fo Southern Connecticut to spread the joy of reading to both adults and children. The rest will be saved for college and a new truck when he is old enough to drive. He hopes that friends and neighbors will help him with his goals by saving their nickel deposits for him to pick up.
