Lakeshore Center at Okoboji

Lakeshore Center at Okoboji Lakeshore Center is "your place at the lake." We are a ministry of the Presbyterian Church (USA). Lakeshore Center at Okoboji is a place where lives are changed.

Come to this secluded retreat setting, located on 55 acres along the shores of West Lake Okoboji, with 300’ of beautiful sand beach lakeshore, complete with a canopy of large oak trees. Lakeshore Center operates year-round. Since its first camping season in 1956, Lakeshore Center at Okoboji provides a place away from the busy day-to-day routines and offers all who come here a chance to recharge, r

ecenter, and encounter Christ. We have a wide variety of accommodations ranging from cabins to our hotel-styled guest rooms in our Lodge. Whether it is participating in the summer camp program, themed retreats, or sitting quietly to read, Lakeshore Center is a place for all ages to see the wonders of God.

"At home I'm the weird quiet kid but here I get to be so much more."

"I've been more social this week than I've been all summer. People are people, you know? But here you're not all mean and it gives me hope."

"I'll be here next year if it fits my schedule and if it doesn't fit my schedule, I'll change my schedule."

CAMP CHANGES LIVES. ❤️

Historical information provided by Jonathan Reed _ Floete Mansion Franklin Floete was a successful lumberman in the grandest style, and he demonstrated it to
