On , we honor the impact that behavioral therapy has on children, families, and communities. This day also marks the birthday of B.F. Skinner, whose research and lifelong work shaped our understanding of how learning happens, demonstrating how behavior is learned and strengthened through reinforcement.
Skinner’s research on reinforcement, motivation, and human behavior laid the foundation for Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). His ideas helped create the evidence‑based practices we use today to support children as they build developmental skills, independence, and confidence. We are proud to partner with dedicated ABA providers who bring these principles to life every day, and the progress we see in homes, classrooms, and community settings is a direct reflection of the legacy Skinner began.
