In recent years, several environmental laboratory closures, acquisitions, and industry changes have resulted in many LANH members transitioning out of the immediate laboratory field. As a result, LANH has experienced a decline in membership and financial resources, making it increasingly difficult to meet member expectations and organizational obligations.
After careful consideration, LANH leadership has decided to formally dissolve the association and integrate with the New Hampshire Water Works Association (NHWWA). Moving forward, LANH will continue its work as a technical committee within NHWWA.
This transition ensures that LANH’s core mission will continue — including support for data ethics and integrity, TNI and MADEP standards training, analytical and QA seminars, technical education, continuous improvement initiatives, and potential CEU opportunities.
To satisfy LANH bylaws and formally move this initiative forward, we invite current members to attend our final LANH meeting:
March 3, 2026
9:00-11:00 AM
Manchester Water Works
The meeting will include an introduction to NHWWA and a question-and-answer session about the transition. Please send at least one representative from your organization to participate in a vote to decide how the remaining moneys will be dispersed.
Please confirm your attendance with Sophie Ricard.
You can learn more about NHWWA at: https://nhwwa.org/
We look forward to continuing our shared mission in this new and exciting chapter.
