The Connecticut music community lost one of it's iconic members this week...Darik Pearson of Darik and the Funbags.
The Milford Oyster Festival is fortunate to have had Darik and the Funbags play on it's main stage twice, most recently in 2024 during our 50th anniversary. Too say they "rocked the house" is an understatement. They ALWAYS did.
The Milford Oyster Festival committee sends our deepest condolences to Darik's family, bandmates and everyone that knew him.
Please consider making a donation to assist his wife and two children at this time. https://gofund.me/8a9ef92a8
Rest easy, Darik.
