Some of our Milford firefighters stopped by Little LEAPS of Faith, Milford Childhood Learning Center, and Milford Public Schools Kindergarten classes to talk fire safety, learn about safety gear, and show their most favorite topic; "stop, drop and roll!" with the kids.

We love supporting our community and helping our youngest learners stay safe and confident. ❤️🔥

🇺🇸REMEMBERING SEPTEMBER 11, 2001 — 25 YEARS LATER 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years later, the Milford Fire and Rescue Department remembers the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice, along with the police officers, EMS personnel, military members, and civilians who lost their lives that day.

We honor their courage, remember their sacrifice, and keep their legacy alive through our commitment to serve and protect our community.

25 years later, we will never forget.

🇺🇸 Honor. Remember. Never Forget. 🇺🇸

🔥❤️ Volunteer Firefighter Day
Today, we honor the men and women of Milford Fire & Rescue who give their time, their sleep, and their hearts to keep our community safe.

Our volunteers leave family moments, busy days, and quiet nights behind the second a call comes in. They don’t serve for a paycheck — they serve for the lives saved and the neighbors protected.

To every Milford volunteer who shows up with courage and compassion — thank you. Your dedication means everything. 🚒💜

💦🚒 Thanks to everyone who came out for the water fights this morning— and for all the parade fun this afternoon! Huge shoutout to NPPD and Oswald Electric for the use of their trucks. Milford Fun Days is always a blast that we are proud to be apart of. 💙

We enjoyed seeing so many families and students at Back to School Night 📚. It’s always a privilege to connect with our community and support the start of a new school year.

We wish all Milford students a safe, successful, and rewarding year ahead. 🚒

🔥 Huge shoutout to our crew who helped out at the Seward County Fair while the weather tried to turn the whole place into a furnace.
You’re tough. Like… fire‑resistant‑gear‑is-jealous tough.

☀️ The next few days aren’t cooling off, so stay hydrated and keep yourselves from slow‑roasting.
