Congratulations to Paola Gayton for being selected as a $1,000 Wild Game Dinner Scholarship Recipient!

The Wild Game Dinner is all about promoting students in agriculture and agricultural education. They would bend over backwards to help a kid that is willing to work. This project is all about supporting the youth in their community, and give them the resources that they need to reward themselves.

These scholarships was awarded to upstanding FFA & 4-H students in our county. We couldn't be more proud of Paola and her commitment to agriculture and her journey to become a veterinarian!

Our small, humble chapter is just 31 members of the, Oh So Great Area 8!

So when you see our members placing at Area contests, know that they are competing in the largest membership Area in the state of Texas!

Across the state, area associations bring chapters together, creating opportunities for leadership, competition, and connection beyond the local level. Every level of involvement opens new doors, and every member has the chance to advocate, lead, serve, and succeed.

This spring, the Texas FFA Association is 174,836 members strong!

A few of our members traveled to Palmer High School for the Blackland District Convention.

We were recognized for our CDE placings, watched District and Area Officer Candidate speeches, celebrated the winners of the District speaking events, and watched our only District Talent entry.

Morgan Potter served as our chapter's voting delegate to help elect our new District leadership team and who we were sending off to area elections!
