Our favorite umpire has enjoyed paddling around this last week, but he’s ready to play ball. Thanks to those of you that came out tonight and helped move water. Without you there’s no chance we’d be playing in the morning. We’ll be back out there at 6am to continue working the fields. Join us at 8am for a pancake breakfast, followed by Tball games kicking off at 9am, and softball games at 10am. “A” field will have games going every two hours through 8pm. Stop by the concession stand from 10am-9:30pm to get loaded pork nachos thanks. Walk over to Main St at 1pm to watch a lot of our teams participate in the Milford Center Memorial Day parade.

Found our buddy on Tball field this morning. He’s excited to kickoff the season. Unfortunately we don’t think the kids will share the same excitement wading through the water, so today’s games are cancelled. Good news is it’s only two days until our Memorial Day celebration. Join us at 8am for a pancake breakfast and stick around to watch the tball kids kick their season off at 9am, 10am, and 11am.

Join us Monday morning at the ball fields for a pancake breakfast. $5 donation recommended per person. Then hang out all day to watch our local athletes showcase their skills on the field. We'll take a brief break in the action for teams to participate in the Memorial Day parade which will end at the fields. We'll also be serving pulled pork locally sourced and donated by Boerger Family Farms.

The 8pm game was made possible by Sign-Lite Sales & Service. They spent several hours the last few weeks troubleshooting an issue with the lights on A Field, which was resolved yesterday.

If you’re looking to finally clear that used gear out of the garage, please consider helping a FSBA alumni, current FSBA umpire, and current Varsity softball player with her community service project. There will be a drop box at the fields by the concession stand through mid-June.

These girls spent five Fridays this offseason working on hitting, fielding, pitching, catching, and base running. Last night for the final session we took advantage of the weather and got outside to work on sliding. We capped the night off with a scrimmage. Thank you to everyone, including the LP Fastpitch girls, who helped out with the camp to help these girls improve their skills.

For those of you attending the softball camp tonight, we are going to move it to the fields in Milford Center (153 E State Milford Center, OH 43045). We will be on B field. Please make sure the girls wear tall socks, softball pants, and their camp shirt. All sessions will be at the normal time.

8U and above should have received an email today with evaluation information. We’ll have good used gear that people have donated for anyone that can use it. We will also accept donations of used equipment with life left in it during this time.

We're looking for umpires for the 2026 season. If you'll be at least 12 years old by 5/1/2026 and are interested in umpiring this season please fill out the interest form. Training will be provided prior to the season. We have gear for you to use if you don't have your own. The season is May 2-June 28.
