Miles FFA had a great day today at the Area IV Convention in Wichita Falls!

🌟 Rylee Vahlenkamp placed 2nd in Prepared Public Speaking – Ag Business
🌟 Kaylee Scott placed 2nd in Prepared Public Speaking – Animal Science
🌟 Jaxon Hohensee placed 2nd in Agriscience Research – Star Lone Star
🌟 Kaylee Scott also placed 2nd in Agriscience Research – Star Chapter
🌟 Beth Kellermeier and Elizabeth Minzenmayer were recognized for advancing to the state scholarship level
🌟 Brystal Taubert was officially inducted as a 2026–2027 Area IV Vice President
🌟 Jaymie Herring captured professional photos throughout the convention
🌟Cole Kellermeier, Cooper Smith, Jiliana Roman and Keeley Binder served as voting delegates

We are incredibly proud of all of these students and especially proud of our own Elizabeth Minzenmayer for her dedication to our chapter, Area IV, and Texas FFA over the past few years. Her passion for agriculture has inspired so many, and we are grateful Miles FFA was able to be her home base throughout her journey. Today, Elizabeth officially retired her FFA jacket, but the memories, friendships, leadership, and lessons gained through FFA will stay with her forever. Thank you, Liz, for everything you have done for Miles FFA! 💙💛

Along with convention activities, we also enjoyed some chapter planning time and played some paintball! It’s going to be fun year with this group!

Miles FFA Banquet 2025-2026 🌟💙

We’ve had an outstanding year filled with success and growth! Our chapter celebrated state-advancing teams, scholarships earned, 22 active Greenhands, 3 Lonestars earned and 9 teams advancing to Area in LDEs. We also enjoyed fun monthly meetings, welcomed a new Area IV Officer, and we are currently supporting a state officer candidate. Most importantly, we were led by a phenomenal group of young ladies who helped make this school year such a success for our chapter. These seniors will be incredibly missed 💙🌟

Another great day for Miles FFA 🌟

Congratulations to our newest Area IV Officer, Brystal Taubert 🙌🏻! This achievement comes after a rigorous process involving testing, interviews, and voting. We’re hitting the road again tomorrow for another round of testing and interviews!

A big shoutout to Kaylee Scott and Brystal Taubert as they complete an incredible year of service as Big Country District President and 1st Vice President. We are so proud to be represented by these exceptional student leaders!

Also in attendance today were Bailee Dunlap, Beth Kellermeier, Cooper Ivey, Jaymie Herring, Alex Tapia, Cotton Wood, Rylee Vahlenkamp, and Avary Butler all serving as part of the Courtesy Corps or Voting Delegates!

Miles FFA has had an incredibly busy week!

We kicked things off Tuesday in Glen Rose at the Wildlife CDE. On Wednesday, we traveled to Tarleton where we competed in Milk Quality, Horse Judging, and Veterinary Science. Today, we wrapped up the week in Ballinger, competing in Cotton and Wool Judging.

It’s been a fun and rewarding week with these students, but the highlight for everyone is that our Wool Judging team advanced to STATE after placing fourth at the area contest today and Bailee Dunlap was seventh high individual!

And we’re not slowing down! Tomorrow we head to Merkel, where students will compete in area and district officer interviews, as well as various speaking events.
