Posting this early. We understand it's Easter weekend, but since the advertising has gone out everywhere—including on the bookmarks given out at the last three book sales—we are sticking to this book sale date. If you have family visiting that weekend, bring them along and stop by the library to browse our thousands of books, CDs, DVDs, and audiobooks for sale.

Just spent 5.5 hours at the library setting up for tomorrow's book sale. We have so many new books since last time. A very generous donor gave us 7 boxes of books in beautiful conditionion, and we also have books that both libraries have donated. Come early while the pickings are good and plentiful.

Hey, all book lovers. We have looked ahead at the weather forecast for Saturday, and it looks like the high will be 8 degrees. Given that Friday's forecast calls for snow all day, the Friends of the Library have decided to move our monthly book sale to the following Saturday, February 14. The hours remain the same--9:30 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.

Please make the change to your calendar and plan to stop by the Milan Library on February 14, 2026, between 9:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.

Here it is! Our Labor Day book sale. We have lots (more than 2,000) NEW donations for this weekend's book sale. We will be there for two days (Saturday and Sunday) and for two extra hours each day (from 9:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. both days). Come on down!!

Just a quick notice that The Friends of the Milan-Berlin Library are NOT HAVING a book sale this Saturday as we usually do on the first Saturday of the month. Instead we are using the time to prepare for a BIG book sale during the Milan Melon Festival. That book sale will be Saturday and Sunday, August 30th and 31st from 9:30 a.m until 4:00 p.m. both days. We will NOT be open on Monday, September 1, Labor Day, so our volunteers can also enjoy the Melon Festival in the Village Square. We hope to see you all at that book sale. And, by the way, we recently recived a generous donation of 2,000 books, so there will be many for you to peruse.
