Kane's Gift The part that became immediately glaring was the “sticker shock” in just how large the potential financial commitment an adoptive couple could be.

Founded in 2021 by Greg and Jaclyn Scott, Kane's Gift is to provide support for families during the adoption process and to increase awareness about opportunities to both adopt and support the adoption process MISSION: To care for orphans by partnering with families during the adoption process


On their way to adopting their son Kane, Greg and Jaclyn Scott learned about the difficulties that ado

pting could bring. Interviews, home studies, reading heart-tugging stories about mothers getting ready to give up a child, waiting to be “matched” with one of those mothers, hoping and praying for health and success, living through failed adoptions, and being ready at a moment’s notice were all part of their experience. Local situations that could incur a few thousand dollars paled in comparison to international adoptions that could reach over $50,000! While the Scotts were blessed to have friends and family help stand in the financial gap with them, navigating the whole process led to the birth of Kane’s Gift – a way to help relieve the financial worry and burden for couples as they bring home their adopted son or daughter.

Today we join the Arendale family in celebrating!

This family’s adoption journey has not been easy. After experiencing an interruption, they faced heartbreak, uncertainty, and many ups and downs along the way. But through it all, they continued to trust the Lord, have hope in the calling to adopt and kept moving forward.

We are incredibly honored that our grant came at a time that we were able to encourage and support them during part of their journey, reminding them not to give up and focus on what the Lord called them to.

And today, we rejoice with them as they officially finalized the adoption of their beautiful baby girl! What a powerful testimony that every hard step of obedience was worth it!
