The part that became immediately glaring was the “sticker shock” in just how large the potential financial commitment an adoptive couple could be.

Founded in 2021 by Greg and Jaclyn Scott, Kane's Gift is to provide support for families during the adoption process and to increase awareness about opportunities to both adopt and support the adoption process MISSION: To care for orphans by partnering with families during the adoption process

On their way to adopting their son Kane, Greg and Jaclyn Scott learned about the difficulties that adopting could bring. Interviews, home studies, reading heart-tugging stories about mothers getting ready to give up a child, waiting to be “matched” with one of those mothers, hoping and praying for health and success, living through failed adoptions, and being ready at a moment’s notice were all part of their experience. Local situations that could incur a few thousand dollars paled in comparison to international adoptions that could reach over $50,000! While the Scotts were blessed to have friends and family help stand in the financial gap with them, navigating the whole process led to the birth of Kane’s Gift – a way to help relieve the financial worry and burden for couples as they bring home their adopted son or daughter.

Today we are celebrating another adoption finalized!
We are absolutely overjoyed for the Dickens Family as they officially celebrate this incredible milestone. Adoption is a journey filled with so much faith, perseverance, and hope, and it is a beautiful picture of God’s redeeming love.
As part of the Kane's Gift family, we know firsthand the power of community, financial support, and faithful prayer partnership along this road. We rejoice today in God's perfect timing and faithfulness!

What started with a heart to serve families in West Tennessee has grown into something bigger than we could have ever imagined.

Kane’s Gift is now reaching families into 34 STATES!

Behind every state on this map is a family, a story, a journey, and a reminder of why we do what we do. Every grant represents more than financial support. It represents hope, love, and a community that is willing to walk alongside families when they need it most.

We are humbled by every family God has sent our way, every donor who has given, and every prayer warrior who has lifted this mission up. You are part of this growing family, and we could not do it without you.

As we look at this map, we don't just see states. We see families who matter, and God growing the Gospel in the lives of children.

Today we are reminded of the reason Kane’s Gift exist! Happy Birthday to Kane!

As we celebrate the life God gave us with Joshua Kane today we are grateful for the eternal impact the Lord is continuing to make through Kane’s Gift. His name meant “God is Salvation” and we pray that every kid that is impacted through a Kane’s Gift grant comes to know the loving saving grace of Christ Jesus!

At Kane’s Gift, we believe that support goes beyond a grant. It’s about walking alongside families, reminding them they are not alone, and surrounding them with love, hope, and prayer.

We’re looking for prayer partners who feel called to join us in lifting up the families we serve.
As a Kane’s Gift Prayer Partner, you will:
*Be matched with a specific family who has received a grant through Kane’s Gift.
*Pray intentionally for that family as we share their specific prayer requests and needs with you.
*Receive prayer requests from our families and our organization, allowing you to pray for the needs, challenges, and victories along the way.
* Partner with Kane’s Gift as we walk alongside these families, offering encouragement, compassion, and reminders that they are never alone on their journey.

You may not always be able to change a family’s circumstances, but you can help surround them with prayer, hope, and the love of a community that cares.

We first met the Richardsons in 2024, as a recipient of a grant at our 4th annual Night with Kane's Gift and since then, we have had the privilege of watching their journey unfold. There were agency problems, unexpected challenges, long seasons of waiting, and plenty of moments when they had to simply trust God and His timing.

Through it all, they continued to trust the Lord. They waited, prayed, persevered, and believed that God was working even when they couldn't see how the story would end.

And now, after five years from the time they began this journey, they are celebrating their precious baby boy!

What a beautiful reminder that God's timing is always worth trusting. The road may not have looked like they expected, but God was faithful every step of the way.

Richardson family, we are so thankful we got to witness a small part of your journey and see God's faithfulness unfold. We are rejoicing with you today and praying that this precious little boy grows up knowing just how deeply he is loved.

Today we celebrate the beautiful finalization of your adoption! Sometimes adoption looks a little different than we imagined, and this time, we are especially thankful for technology and the ability to celebrate this incredible moment through a virtual court hearing.

What a joy it has been to watch the Lord work through your story. We are so thankful He crossed our paths and allowed us to be a small part of your journey.
