Healing isn’t a straight line.

Some days you’ll feel strong, motivated, and confident in your progress. Other days may feel heavy, and you might wonder if you’re moving backward.

You’re not.

Growth happens in the small moments:
✨ Choosing to try again.
✨ Asking for support when you need it.
✨ Taking one more step, even when it’s difficult.
✨ Showing yourself grace along the way.

Remember: setbacks do not erase progress. Every challenge you’ve overcome is evidence of your strength.

Keep going. Keep growing. Keep believing in the person you’re becoming.

💚 You’ve made it through 100% of your hardest days so far.

💙 Why Supervised Visitation Matters 💙

Supervised visitation(or as we call it at AFS - Supported Supervised Parenting Time) provides children and families with a safe, supportive environment where meaningful connections can continue during difficult seasons of life.

When conducted by trained professionals, supervised parenting time can:

✅ Promote child safety and well-being
✅ Support healthy parent-child relationships
✅ Reduce stress and conflict during visits
✅ Encourage positive parenting interactions
✅ Provide accountability and structure
✅ Help families work toward reunification goals when appropriate

At its core, SPT is not about punishment, it is about creating opportunities for safe interactions, relationship building, and healing.

Every child deserves the chance to maintain important family connections in an environment that prioritizes their safety, emotional well-being, and best interests.

❤️ Safe interactions today. Stronger relationships tomorrow.

PS - a huge shoutout to our team this morning for taking this family outside and helping them build unforgettable memories!

🚧 Something New is Coming to Helping Hands 365! 🚧

While shopping at the Tiniest Thrift Store in Town, you may notice a little construction taking place. We're excited to announce that beginning July 1, 2026, we'll be opening a brand-new section called the FREE SHELF!

This special area will be stocked with a variety of items including clothing, dishes, knick-knacks, food, and much more — all available FREE for the taking. We encourage everyone to stop by often, as items will change regularly.

We simply ask that you please be considerate of others while visiting the Free Shelf so that as many community members as possible can benefit.

And remember, every purchase you make in our thrift store helps support Helping Hands 365 and the programs we provide throughout our community. Your support truly makes a difference!

We can't wait for you to check it out! ❤️

💙 Happy Father’s Day from Arrows Family Services! 💙

Today we celebrate all fathers and father figures who invest their time, love, and energy into helping children thrive.

Whether you are a dad, stepdad, grandfather, foster parent, adoptive father, uncle, mentor, or another positive male role model, your impact matters. Children benefit when caring adults show up consistently, provide encouragement, and build strong, healthy relationships.

At Arrows Family Services, we are honored to support fathers and families throughout their journeys. We recognize the important role fathers play in promoting safety, connection, resilience, and hope.

Thank you for all the ways you lead, teach, support, and love.

Wishing you a joyful and meaningful Father’s Day!

Do you know ALICE?

You probably see ALICE every single day.

She’s the mom at the grocery store doing mental math in the checkout line.

He’s the guy at the gas pump who stops at $20 because that’s what he has until payday.

They’re the families making decisions about which bill gets paid first this month.

ALICE stands for Asset Limited, Income Constrained, Employed.

That’s the part that matters: employed.

ALICE households are working. Many are working full-time. Some are working multiple jobs. They’re doing everything we’re told people are supposed to do, and they’re still struggling to make the numbers work.

They make too much to qualify for many assistance programs, but not enough to comfortably afford housing, childcare, groceries, transportation, healthcare, and all the other basics.

They’re not a small group. They’re our neighbors. Our coworkers. Our friends. Our family members.

For some of us, they’re the person we see in the mirror. The reality is that a lot of families aren’t failing. The math is.
