If your Grange is running low on cookbooks after your summer events, now is the time to stock back up. We are not planning on bringing any extra cases with us to Session, so please reserve them BEFORE October 7 by calling the State Office at 717-737-8855 or [email protected]. The office only has the 2010 edition and the 150th Anniversary edition.

If your Grange has any other editions laying around your hall (or house) and you would like to unload them onto someone else, bring those to Session and we will help you sell them to another Grange.

Today - August 29, 2026 - was the Grand Opening of the Pennsylvania State Grange Headquarters and Historical Display in Mifflintown. Since the State Grange moved into our new headquarters in 2021, we have been hard at work completing building renovations and curating an historical display of State Grange records and memorabilia. Today we were thrilled to officially open the historical display/museum!

The day began with an open house reception and ribbon cutting ceremony, which was attended by about 50 people - both Grange members and visitors. Following the ribbon cutting ceremony, the historical display was open for visiting. Many of the group then traveled to the nearby Garlind venue for a delicious celebration luncheon.

It was a wonderful day and we appreciate everyone who attended today's festivities! A special thank you to Wayne Campbell for all of his work completing building renovations, including building walls to create office space and space for the historical display. Thank you to Brittany Covey and Debbie Campbell for their hard work in making the office warm and welcoming. And thank you to the Pennsylvania State Grange History Committee - Jenn Nauss, Anna May Nauss, Doug Bonsall, Steve Mohn, Karen Mohn, Ashley Mohn, Susan Tau (along with honorary member Brad Nauss) - for their work in preparing the historical display and for planning today's event.
