Brother Choate wants to remind all the scout committee members that this Sunday is our scout committee meeting at 1:15 just after 3rd hour. (as we were snowed out the 4th Sunday of last month) and this ones important, because we need to solidify some dates for the coming year for things for the scouts, so if your on the committee, please be mindful and attend.

Troop 785 is hosting a free Merit Badge Fair at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Moore (12915 South Santa Fe Avenue) on Saturday, September 28. Registration is underway at http://scoutfan.zcloudsite.com/index.php; Register as directed and be sure to check your email to validate the registration and log back in to complete Merit Badge class enrollment.

We are offering a large variety of Merit Badges to include 2 brand new ones introduced in July at the National Jamboree. There are 5 Eagle required offered (the first 5 listed below).

All classes are capped on enrollment, so first come, first serve. Walk-in registration will begin 28 September at 8 a.m. Class sessions are 3 hour blocks - Session 1 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) and Session 2 (1 a.m. to 4 p.m.). This is a uniformed event and prerequisites and lunch options will be provided in the coming week or two. The flyer for the MB Fair has been attached for your convenience and dissemination.

When: Saturday, April 6, 2013
Where: St. Stephens Presbyterian Church
2424 NW 50th, OKC
(corner of NW 50th and Villa)
Check in: 8:30 am Classes begin at 9:00am and end at 4:00pm
Cost:$20.00 – includes lunch (pizza, drink, fruit, and dessert)
Trading post and concessions will be available throughout the day
