I had the pleasure of bringing my Soul Survivors along with me while I got my workout in. It’s about more than just physical fitness; it’s about building healthy habits, encouraging one another, strengthening our minds, and taking care of ourselves.

🇺🇸❤️ What a Wonderful Time We Had! ❤️🇺🇸

Saturday was the 40th anniversary celebration of the Oklahoma Women Veterans Organization, and what a time we had! It was truly a blessing to have so many amazing women who have served in the Armed Forces gathered together under one roof in Norman, Oklahoma.

The love, sisterhood, fellowship, and shared experiences made this celebration extra special. Forty years of honoring, supporting, and celebrating women veterans is an amazing milestone!

To all the women who served and continue to serve, thank you for your courage, dedication, and sacrifice. Here's to the sisterhood, the memories, and many more years of service and celebration! 🎉🇺🇸❤️

💜 Sometimes a woman doesn’t need someone to judge how she got there. She needs someone to help her figure out what comes next.

She may be leaving a relationship with nowhere to go.

She may have lost her housing and be sleeping in her car, on a couch or on the streets.

She may be facing a situation she never imagined she would be in and simply needs help finding a way forward.

Soul Survivor Supportive Living Foundation has opened our doors to ALL women age 18 and older who need help.

Our mission is to meet women where they are, connect them with support and resources, and help each woman begin taking steps toward stability and independence.

And sometimes, YOU are the connection.

If there is a woman in your life who is struggling, tell her about Soul Survivor. Send her our information. Reach out on her behalf. Share this post so it reaches someone outside your circle.

She doesn’t have to have a plan.

She just needs to know there is somewhere she can turn. 💜

💜 “I would love to volunteer, but I just don't have a lot of extra time.”

We hear you.

That’s exactly why Soul Survivor is creating opportunities for people to make a difference just a few hours at a time.

On the last Saturday of every month, volunteers can come together to tackle projects that directly help our organization and the women we serve.

Maybe you can paint.

Maybe you’re great with yard work.

Maybe you can fix things.

Maybe you can organize like nobody’s business.

Or maybe you just have two hands and a willingness to help.

We can use you.

You don't have to volunteer every week or take on a huge commitment to make an impact.

💜 WE’RE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE SPECIAL TO JOIN SOUL SURVIVOR

Are you the kind of person who can be compassionate when someone is struggling, but also strong enough to provide structure and accountability?

Soul Survivor Supportive Living Foundation is hiring a live-in House Manager to help support the women in our home as each woman works toward stability and a new chapter.

We’re looking for someone who has experienced some of life’s challenges, learned from them, and can use that experience to encourage other women without judgment.

Our House Manager should be someone who can listen, communicate, problem-solve and remain calm when a woman is experiencing a crisis. This position also requires helping maintain the expectations and safety of the home, including administering required drug tests to residents.

Applicants must:

• Be drug and alcohol free
• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Have basic computer skills
• Be a good communicator and problem solver
• Be willing to live in the home
• Be comfortable supporting women during crisis situations
• Be comfortable administering required drug tests
• Have two valid forms of identification

This position is for someone who wants her work to mean something.

You’ll be helping women who are working to change their lives, and you’ll have the opportunity to be part of that journey. 💜

Today, on Native American Day, we honor the history, cultures, traditions and contributions of Native American people and communities.

At Soul Survivor, we especially want to recognize Native women — mothers, daughters, grandmothers, leaders, caregivers, advocates and survivors whose strength has helped shape families and communities for generations.

Today is also an opportunity to listen, learn and recognize that many Native women continue to face significant challenges, including violence, housing instability and barriers to accessing resources and support.

Our mission at Soul Survivor is rooted in a simple belief:

Every woman deserves to feel safe, supported and valued.

Today, we honor Native American women, celebrate their strength and resilience, and stand with the women in our community who are working toward safer, stronger futures. 💜
