MYTH: Veterans always have somewhere to turn when they leave military service.

REALITY: The transition from military life to civilian life can be incredibly difficult.

Women veterans may face housing barriers, employment challenges, trauma, disabilities, and other obstacles that increase their risk of homelessness. The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs recognizes women veterans as the fastest-growing segment of the veteran population and continues to develop specialized housing and support programs to address their unique needs.

Supportive housing can be the difference between surviving and truly thriving.

Today was a great reminder of what can happen when a community comes together with a servant's heart.

A huge THANK YOU to every volunteer who donated time, energy, skills, and expertise to help clean up and improve our home. Your willingness to roll up your sleeves and lend a hand made a tremendous difference.

Because of your hard work, our home is safer, cleaner, and better equipped to serve the women who rely on Soul Survivor Living Foundation as they heal, recover, and rebuild their lives.

Sometimes the biggest acts of generosity aren't measured by what is given, but by the lives that are changed because of it.

A heartfelt thank you to a local Midwest City church for supporting the mission of Soul Survivor Living Foundation. Because of caring community partners, we are able to continue providing a safe, supportive environment for veteran women who are working to rebuild their lives.
