Our Purpose
The purpose of Gabriel's House Ranch is to provide a quality home environment for foster children from birth to 12 years. This facility will seek to provide for those children who the Department of Family Services (DFCS) deem in need of foster care. This facility was created specifically to prevent siblings from being separated into separate foster homes after being removed from their
primary residence by the Department of Family and Children Services. Gabriel's House cares for children whose needs range from basic to moderate and/or occasional serious emotional and/or behavioral management problems that interfere with their ability to function in the family, school, and community. This facility will not keep a child against his or her will nor will this facility keep a child to the detriment of the facility and program. Gabriel's House will not provide care for children who have serious emotional, sexual, health, learning, and/or behavioral management problems that pose serious harm to other residents. Our Goals
Our goals are to provide a safe, child friendly environment for foster siblings where they feel loved, understood, and valued. In our aim for family reunification, we aspire to teach these children multiple life skills, social skills, and good character qualities through instruction, example and practice, in the belief that these qualities will enable them to become positive, contributing members of their families and society.
