ATTENTION all people interested in aviation and flying:
We have some exciting news to share! An aircraft has come available to form a new flying club in Baxter County. A move that will continue the availability of the lowest possible cost for pilots wanting to fly recreationally— and anyone who may wish to learn to fly. A club sharing ownership of an aircraft is the lowest cost way to private flying. If you would like to join, or know anyone you know might benefit from this club, reach out to us to be put on the contact list about our first meeting to discuss the organization.
The club will be a member/volunteer run club. Rules, prices and all policies will be up to the new members. The Leading Edge Aviation Foundation is providing the airplane, so revenues above operating expenses will be shared— so your flying will also be going to the good cause of continuing to promote access to the joy of aviation and rewarding scholarships towards aviation careers. We plan to organize the first meeting to have the club set up and flying in January, so respond to the message right away. For more info or to be added to the contact list—call/text the number below, or email.

More NEWS! The FAA recently changed rules to make the "sport pilot" license much more accessible. It cuts in half the training hours required, and eliminates the need for a medical examination (if you have a valid driver's license, you are qualified to fly!). Flight privileges include carrying a passenger and enjoying unlimited local flying in good weather. The club will be equipped with qualified flight instructors, ground training space, access to a flight simulator and a hangar for the airplane that has just completed the required annual mechanical inspection, certifying airworthy condition for another year.
