Midway Town Beautification Day is a local favorite tradition. The City, Boosters & community members come together to plant flowers along Main Street, roundabouts & parks, with clean-up & maintenance at the cemetery & other locations.

The girls have a great time getting their hands (knees, faces) dirty as they help provide service to keep our town clean and beautiful.

THIS is what positive support & confidence looks like.

Capturing these moment (every year) brings me to tears; seeing all the other contestants whose names weren’t called, run on stage to love and congratulate the girls who were chosen.
Among the tears & hurt hearts, there was support and joy.

THIS is what the Swiss Miss program creates & is all about: Positive life skills.
Not only learning to “win” graciously, but also learning to accept disappointment graciously. Some of these girls try out 2-3 times, with both outcomes. These experiences & learning resilience help shape the rest of their lives.
We’re so proud of them! What examples!

How I wish all young girls felt (and showed) this kind of love during joy and sadness, at the age of insecurities & feeling left out.
Not here. These friendships & memories at least, from the skills developed through the Swiss Miss program, are the kind that last.

Positive support & friendships are life’s most valuable assets.

The 2026 Swiss Miss program & the moment you’ve been waiting for… announcing the new Swiss Miss court!🇨🇭💐

Every one of these girls worked hard & learned invaluable life skills during the 6 week program. They all love being a part of it, many eager to come back again! Although there can only be 5, they’ve gained 14 friends. We love them all.

With great appreciation, we say goodbye to this phenomenal group of girls, who represented the Midway Boosters as ambassadors to our charming Midway City for 2025.

It says a lot a lot about a group of girls who were just as enthusiastic on their last day as they were on their first…

With a year packed full of performances, events, parades, service projects and more, never once were they tired, and were completely excited for every one of their obligations, always looking forward to the next one. They had such a great time together!

The mothers were also outstanding in supporting them with the other obligations they have in their lives and families.

Girls, we will miss you and we thank you for carrying out 2025 with such joy and positivity!
