Wrapping up this important week, National School Counselors Week 2026, we want to challenge all WATCH D.O.G.S.® volunteers to remember the important role our counselors fill every day of every week and seek out opportunities to show them support all throughout the school year during your time in the hallways, classrooms, cafeterias, and playgrounds.

National School Counselors Week 2026 theme is: “School Counselors Amplify Student Success” highlighting the unique contributions, impact, and essential services provided by professional school counselors.
When you think about it, that’s really what WATCH D.O.G.S.® aim to achieve.

So supporting counselors can s one of many ways we can serve that goal!

A fresh layer of mulch to help the Spirit Rock stand out and celebrate our school community 💙

After a conversation with J.B. Watkins Elementary PTA about refreshing the Spirit Rock, the WatchDOG dads jumped in to give it a fresh layer of mulch to help it stand out and better serve our school community.

Big thanks to the dads who volunteered their time and Pleasants Hardware Since 1915 for donating the mulch!

We appreciate the PTA for the support and partnership and Happy Birthday Mackenzie!
