Join us for our next Midlothian Lions Evening Meeting on Thursday, September 3rd, 7pm at the Midlothian Civic Center.

Come learn all things food-related and hear from our special guest, Ashley Tapia, Concessions Manager for the State Fair of Texas. She'll share an inside look at what it takes to bring your favorite fair foods to life, the latest concession trends, and what to expect at this year's State Fair.

Dr. David Belding, Superintendent of Midlothian ISD (and fellow Lion) presented a very informative and insightful program on the performance of our schools and the overall state of the district. His presentation provided a valuable look at the accomplishments, challenges, and continued progress of our local school district

In the cartoon, SpongeBob flips Krabby Patties at The Krusty Krab. While planning the details, we thought, "How fun would it be to serve 'KrabbyPatties' at the show? But, we will need help cooking them."

What a special evening for the Midlothian Lions Club! We celebrated the installation of our new Leo Club officers while recognizing our graduating Leos for their leadership and service as they passed the gavel to the next generation of leaders.

We also installed a new member (Kenley), honored one of our Lions for more than 56 years of dedicated service (Tom), and heard inspiring remarks from our new Leo Club president and the Lions District 2-X1 Leo advisors.

Congratulations to everyone…. we're excited for another great year of service!

Huge kudos out to Lions Norma, Craig & the entire Manna House Outreach team for organizing an amazing “resource expo” for local students as they prepare for a new school year.

Several Lions also helped pass out school supplies and served popcorn!
