Congratulations to the 9 teams from Midlothian ISD that advanced from the Greater Fort Worth regional tournament to the Lone Star Finals tournament held this past weekend! The Super Smart Thinking T-Rexes, Red Hot Silly Peppers, A Team Name, Technically It’s Service, Super Kooper’s Mental Marrowverse, Teenagers in Tiaras, and Rollerblading Wizards competed for the chance to advance to the Global Finals Tournament.

The Super Smart Thinking T-Rexes, Red Hot Silly Peppers, Technically It’s Service, Rollerblading Wizards, and Super Kooper’s Mental Marrowverse will compete next month against other state teams as well as international teams at Global Finals.

2025-2026 Destination Imagination
Calling all creative minds! There will be an interest meeting about Destination Imagination for grades K-12 at 5:30 p.m. on September 8, 2025 at Miller Elementary. If you'd like more information, please plan to attend and fill out the information form linked here.

MISD teams participate in the Greater Fort Worth Destination Imagination Regional Tournament every year. This year, the regional tournament will be held at Waxahachie High School. So PROUD of all 4 of our teams that advanced to Globals 25! Our Walnut Grove Middle School engineering team, the Rollerblading Wizards, placed 9th place out of 38 teams!
Dieterich Middle School’s improv team, Very Cutesy, Very DI-mure, placed 14th out of 43 teams! This was both teams’ first year competing in that challenge!
Midlothian High School’s improv team, Teenagers & Tiaras, placed 1st 🥇 !!
Our LaRue Miller Elementary team, DI Maxion, placed 3rd 🥉, got High IC, and earned a Renaissance Award.
Midlothian DI is AWESOME! These are some very talented and AMAZING kiddos!

Teenagers & Tiaras 👏👏👏 Way to go ladies!!!

Teenager & Tiaras, Midlothian’s first high school Destination Imagination team, is also the first high school team to go to Globals and win FIRST PLACE IN THE WORLD in Improv. These ladies competed in Kansas City this weekend against teams not only from the United States but around the world!! There were teams from Qatar, Poland, Turkey, Australia, Canada, Mexico, the Netherlands, Guatemala, China, Korea, Ukraine and Grand Cayman! In fact, our sister team from China came in second (we are really proud of them, too!)
These girls are SUCH AMAZING actresses and so clever! Thank you to everyone who supported them, most importantly to Danielle Gardner for working so tirelessly as their team manager!
