Plenty Good Room, the 2027 Stewardship Campaign for St. Matthias, continues with personal testimonials about participation and support for our community.

Please return your Estimate of Giving cards via mail, or place them in the offertory, by Oct 25, 2026. You can also respond digitally by using the QR code on the EOG card.

Our monetary needs for 2027 are significant this year. We have experienced considerable increases in expenses. Please prayerfully consider how you can help support St. Matthias and our many ministries in the upcoming year.

The Youth will host a Yard Sale on October 17th from 9 AM–1:00 PM
Please bring cash for any purchases.

If you would like to volunteer to help
October 17h: SALES DAY. Setting up for the sale, helping customers, cashier, clean up. (8 am – 11 am or 11 am - 2 pm)

Let us take a moment to become still.

Take a breath in,
and slowly let it go.

May this space tonight be a place of openness, honesty, and belonging.

We often say, “All are welcome.”

And those are beautiful words.

But tonight, may we ask ourselves what it means to move beyond welcome.

From you are welcome in our space
to you belong here.

From there is a place for you at our table
to this is your table, too.

May we have the courage to listen with open hearts, especially when another person’s experience is different from our own.

May those who have ever felt excluded, questioned, unseen, or asked to make themselves smaller know that they are worthy of love, dignity, and belonging.

May we recognize the sacred presence within every person gathered here.

And may our time together move us beyond simply opening our doors.

May we open our hearts.

May we make room for one another—not as guests, but as equals.

May we leave here tonight a little more open, a little more courageous, and more deeply committed to creating a community where we don't simply say,

“All are welcome.”

We say,

“You belong here.”

Amen.

Please take a minute to review your information in Realm so we can stay connected!

Parents of our St. Matthias’ youth are invited to join Fr. Nik, Jill Griffith, and Melanie Magee for a Youth Group Parent Lunch on Sunday, October 11 at 12:30 PM at St. Matthias’.

We’ll share information about upcoming events and opportunities—including the Youth-Led Yard Sale and Confirmation Classes—and talk about plans for Youth Group in the year ahead.

Most importantly, we want to hear from you! This will be a chance to share your thoughts, questions, and ideas about how we can continue building a meaningful, engaging ministry with and for our youth.
