A baby boy asked God, “They tell me you are sending me to earth tomorrow, but how am I going to live there being so small and helpless?” God said, “ Your angel will be waiting for you and will take care of you. “The baby asked, “ who will protect me?” God said, “Your angel will defend you even if it means risking her life” The baby said, “God, please tell me my angel’s name.” God said, “ you will simply call her Mama.” Happy Blessed Birthday my son we celebrated you today and then I went to mass and prayed for you. God bless you my beautiful boy, I continue to carry you forward and we will continue to do what we can with what we have. May God give me the strength, an understanding heart and mind to govern all we do so that I may discern between good and evil of the world. “In nomine Patris, et Fiilii, et Spiritus Sancti. 🇺🇸 Memorial Day

Memorial Day will always be personal for me.

As a mother, I know the weight of loss and the pride that comes with loving someone who served this country with honor. My son’s memory is the reason I founded the SFCROD Foundation, and not a day goes by that he isn’t in my heart and present in everything we do.

Today, I hold close all the families carrying that same love, loss, pride, and sacrifice. We remember the brave men and women who gave everything for our freedom, and we honor the lives and legacies they left behind.

From my family and all of us at the SFCROD Foundation, thank you to our fallen heroes and the families who continue to carry their memory forward every day.
