Troop 512 Midlothian, Texas We are Troop 512 in Midlothian, Texas a part of Circle Ten Council in the Southern Star District.

We focus on the traditional scout skills through rank and merit badges, but we also focus heavily on the following:

The Outdoor Program- Camping offered 10 of the 12 months a year
STEM focused Merit Badges
Themed Campouts (like Star Wars on May the 4th)
Home School Friendly

🎉🏅 Congratulations to Landry K. on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 512! 🦅

For his Eagle Project, Landry partnered with CASA of Ellis County to support children entering foster care during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through his leadership and dedication, he provided 50 care bags for children in care, including 25 duffle bags filled with essential hygiene items for older youth and 25 backpacks for younger children packed with comfort items such as stuffed animals, coloring books, and other thoughtful gifts. 🎒💙

These bags provide more than just necessities. They offer comfort, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares during times of uncertainty and transition.

Landry's project reflects the very best of Scouting: leadership, service, and compassion for others. His efforts will have a lasting impact on children throughout Ellis County and serve as an example of how one person can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.

This fall, Landry will begin the next phase of his journey at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he will study Cybersecurity. 🕵️‍♀️💻📓

We are proud of Landry and grateful for the continued commitment of Troop 512 to developing young leaders dedicated to serving their community.

🎉🏅 Congratulations to London K. on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 512! 🦅

For his Eagle Project, London partnered with CASA of Ellis County to create and donate a beautiful Little Library, providing children and families with greater access to books, inspiration, and the joy of reading. 📚💙 This project will serve the community for years to come, encouraging literacy, learning, and imagination for the children CASA supports.

London's project is a testament to his leadership, vision, and dedication to serving others. By creating a lasting resource for local families, he has made a meaningful investment in the future of our community and the lives of the children CASA serves.

This project was truly a team effort, and special thanks go to Troop 512, Assistant Scoutmaster John Hixson, and the scouts who helped bring the project to life. We are especially grateful to Scott H, Marek M, and Lucas B for their hard work and support during the installation of the library.

London's achievement reflects the values of Scouting and the positive impact that dedicated young leaders can have on their community. His Eagle Project will continue to benefit children and families for years to come.

This fall, London will begin an exciting new chapter as he attends the United States Naval Academy, continuing his commitment to leadership, service, and excellence. 🇺🇸⚓

🎉🏅 Congratulations to Brenden H. on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout! 🦅 Brenden is the third Eagle Scout of 2026 in the Southern Star District, adding to an already incredible year of achievement.

For his Eagle Project, Brenden supported the Midlothian City Animal Shelter, collecting much-needed supplies and dedicating his time to help care for the animals. 🐾 His efforts directly supported a shelter that works tirelessly to remain no-kill, offering free adoptions to help animals find loving homes. Funded entirely by tax dollars and community donations, the shelter depends on service like Brenden’s to keep making a difference.

Brenden’s leadership and compassion show what Scouting is all about—serving both people and the voiceless members of our community. 💙

Tonight Midlothian Troop 512B welcomed new Scouts from Midlothian Pack 962 and our sister troop Midlothian Troop 215G for a fun evening around the campfire with a real-life wagon boss. 🔥

Gathered around the fire under the Texas sky, Scouts learned about the history of the chuckwagon and the role it played on the cattle drives that helped shape the West. No night around the chuckwagon would be complete without cobbler.

This is what Scouting is all about:
🏕️ The outdoors
🔥 A campfire
🤝 Friendship
📚 Learning together

🎉🏅 Congratulations to Jacob C. on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 512! 🦅 This milestone reflects years of commitment, leadership, and service to others.

Jacob is also a proud member of the Order of the Arrow, Scouting’s honor society, and his Scouting experiences stretch far beyond home. In 2024, he crewed the Chao Bella with Sea Base with 5 other scouts from 512, taking on adventure, teamwork, and responsibility on the open water. ⚓🌊 Closer to home, Jacob has given back as a Den Chief for Pack 962, mentoring younger scouts and leading by example.

For his Eagle Project, Jacob partnered with the Midlothian Parks Department to plant and establish a new Monarch Waystation at Lakeside Park, supporting pollinators, conservation, and environmental education for the entire community. 🦋🌱

Jacob, your leadership, service, and love of the outdoors leave a lasting mark. Well done, Eagle Scout! The community and troop is better because of your work. 🌟

🎉🏅 Congratulations to Henry S. on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout! 🦅 This achievement represents years of dedication, leadership, and service, and Henry exemplified all three through his Eagle project.

For his project, Henry delivered over 1000 3D-printed disability aids, games, fidgets, and toys to child patients at Dallas Scottish Rite Hospital, bringing comfort, joy, and a much-needed distraction to kids facing difficult days. 🧸💙 It’s a powerful reminder that service can be both innovative and deeply compassionate.

Henry’s commitment to Scouting continues. He plans to keep serving as a Den Chief with Pack 962 in Midlothian and will step into a Junior Assistant Scoutmaster role in the new year, helping guide and mentor the next generation of scouts.

Well done, Henry! Your creativity, leadership, and heart for service are making a real impact. The trail ahead is bright. 🌟
