Congratulations to Landry K. on earning the prestigious rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 512! π¦
For his Eagle Project, Landry partnered with CASA of Ellis County to support children entering foster care during some of the most difficult moments of their lives. Through his leadership and dedication, he provided 50 care bags for children in care, including 25 duffle bags filled with essential hygiene items for older youth and 25 backpacks for younger children packed with comfort items such as stuffed animals, coloring books, and other thoughtful gifts. ππ
These bags provide more than just necessities. They offer comfort, dignity, and a reminder that someone cares during times of uncertainty and transition.
Landry's project reflects the very best of Scouting: leadership, service, and compassion for others. His efforts will have a lasting impact on children throughout Ellis County and serve as an example of how one person can make a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
This fall, Landry will begin the next phase of his journey at the University of Texas at San Antonio, where he will study Cybersecurity. π΅οΈββοΈπ»π
We are proud of Landry and grateful for the continued commitment of Troop 512 to developing young leaders dedicated to serving their community.
Congratulations, Eagle Scout! Your generosity, leadership, and heart for service have made a lasting difference. ππ¦
