The Cinderella Dreams Prom Dress Project is held each spring.

Educating and empowering teens through planned events and drives with the express goal of building confidence, self-esteem and leadership skills with an ultimate goal of providing a positive foundation in life. During the late winter and early spring, the club collects prom dresses, jewelry, shoes, makeup and other prom-related accessories at Richmond-area Puritan Cleaners.

Over the past few weeks, we've shared the story of Cinderella Dreams, introduced you to our incredible Fairy Godmothers, and reminded you that our mission is about so much more than finding the perfect dress. It's about empowering teens with confidence, celebrating their unique beauty, and creating unforgettable Cinderella moments.

None of that happens without you.

Cinderella Dreams exists because of an extraordinary community of volunteers, sponsors, donors, and supporters who believe every teen deserves to feel celebrated. Every dress donated, every hour volunteered, every sponsorship, and every encouraging smile helps turn kindness into confidence and dreams into reality.

We hope you'll join us on September 3rd at the Westchester Commons Summer Concert Series, where Cinderella Dreams is honored to be the featured charity. Come enjoy an evening of great music with Funhouse, spend time with our Fairy Godmothers, and celebrate the community that makes the magic possible.
And then, when spring arrives, we hope you'll join us once again for our 2027 Cinderella Dreams Shopping Event, where together we'll help hundreds more teens experience their own happily ever after.

✨ Every Cinderella needs a Fairy Godmother. ✨

At Cinderella Dreams, our Fairy Godmothers don't wave magic wands. They offer a warm smile, an encouraging word, a helping hand, and the reminder that every teen deserves to feel confident, celebrated, and beautiful.

They cheer when the perfect dress is found. They help zip dresses, fluff skirts, and find just the right pair of shoes. Most importantly, they help create those unforgettable Cinderella moments when a teen sees themselves in the mirror and realizes just how special they truly are.

Those moments don't happen without our volunteers.

To every Fairy Godmother who has given their time, their heart, and a little pixie dust, thank you. Because of you, hundreds of teens have been able to step into prom with confidence and joy.

Over the coming weeks, we'll be inviting you behind the castle doors to see how the magic happens.
