We’re incredibly excited to visit 13 NEW Innovation Grant Awardees and celebrate the incredible educators bringing bold, creative ideas to life in their classrooms.

A huge thank you to our CEF Board members, School Board Member Dominique Chatters, and Deputy Superintendent Dr. Lisa High for joining us along the way to celebrate these exceptional educators and their innovative work. 👏

Teachers shouldn’t have to reach into their own pockets to make sure students have the supplies they need to learn.

Our CEF Teacher Supply Closet helps provide essential classroom supplies to educators at schools with the greatest needs—but we need your help to keep the shelves stocked!

We’re looking for donations of:
✏️ Pencils & pens
🖍️ Markers, crayons & colored pencils
🎧 Headphones
🧼 Clorox wipes and hand sanitizer

Every box, pack, and donation helps a teacher say “yes” when a student needs a supply.

Help us fill the closet and equip classrooms across Chesterfield County. 💙

THANK YOU to our generous donors so far:
Shannon L.
Linda U.
Jacquelyn H.
Elliot R.
Timara R.

🤖 What an incredible day at the CCPS GenAI Summit!

Students, educators, business leaders, and community members came together to explore how AI is shaping education, careers, and our future.

From an inspiring keynote by Dr. Amarda Shehu to student-led and industry breakout sessions, the day sparked meaningful conversations about the possibilities of AI—and the importance of using it responsibly.

One student shared a powerful reminder:

💡 “You won’t be replaced by AI but by people who know how to use AI better.”

👏 Thank you to the CCPS team for bringing our community together and to our CEF sponsors—Google, QTS, Bryant & Stratton College, Pocahontas Parkway by Globalvia, IXL, Luck Stone, and TowneBank—for making this event possible!

Remembering September 11

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001, and honor the courage of the first responders, service members, and everyday heroes who stepped forward in the face of unimaginable tragedy.

May we remember, reflect, and continue to carry forward the spirit of compassion, unity, and service.

We remember
