We hope to see you this Tuesday, February 10, from 12-1pm for this week’s Rotary program!
Our guest speaker this week is Emily D***s, Vice President of Operations for Methodist Midlothian.
Emily D***s, MHA, serves Methodist Health System as the vice president of operations for Methodist Midlothian Medical Center. She has a strong administrative background and experience with developing services lines, supporting key operational functions, and streamlining processes to improve patient experience metrics.
Before she joined the Midlothian team, D***s served as the assistant vice president of operations at Methodist Dallas Medical Center and has been an integral part of Methodist Health System for over seven years. Her time at Methodist Dallas was marked by several successful initiatives, including serving as the Patient Experience Champion, improving employee engagement ratings, and achieving the first ever TJC/AHA Heart Attack Center Certification for Methodist Dallas. D***s also oversaw several capital projects including the cardiac catheterization lab renovation in 2022 and L&D transformation in 2023.
D***s holds a master’s degree in healthcare administration from Trinity University and a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. Outside of work, she is very active within her community and has been heavily involved with the Junior League of Fort Worth since 2020, serving as the merchant chair for the Christmas in Cowtown event. She is happily married to her husband, Kyle, and is the proud mother of two boys. They reside in Fort Worth.
Many thanks to Rotarians Don Ellis and David Spaulding for delivering Meals on Wheels!
