Grief doesn’t only follow the loss of a loved one. 🕊️

For someone living with a rare or chronic disease, grief can also come with a diagnosis, a change in independence, an altered routine, or the loss of the future they once pictured. And while those experiences may look different from person to person, they deserve to be acknowledged.

This National Grief Awareness Day (8/30), we’re recognizing the many forms grief can take and the importance of giving yourself space to process change, seek support, and honor what has been lost.

We are wrapping up a fun and festive Employee Appreciation Week that allowed us to celebrate the people who bring Accessia Health’s mission to life every day! 💙

Our team enjoyed special activities and treats, from appreciation gifts for each staff member to lunches featuring Firesides 804 Food Truck and plenty of pizza. We also rolled up our sleeves and began work on a new Accessia Health office mural, giving everyone a chance to leave their own creative mark on our space!

We're incredibly grateful for the opportunity to recognize the dedication, compassion, and hard work our staff brings to supporting patients and families across the country.

🩺 Healthcare costs don’t always fit neatly into one category, and financial assistance shouldn’t have to either.

With 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗔𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲, 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗼𝗶𝗰𝗲, eligible Accessia Health patients receive an approved amount of assistance and have greater flexibility in deciding how to use those funds across qualifying expenses. Depending on the program, that could include insurance premiums, medication copays, medical expenses, or travel costs related to care.

⚠️ Changes are coming to Medicare Part D in 2027, and understanding what they could mean for your prescription drug costs can help you prepare.

The Part D Premium Stabilization Demonstration, which has helped keep premiums lower and more stable, is set to end after 2026. While 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗗 𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘆, some people with standalone Part D plans could see higher premiums next year. Important protections, including the annual out-of-pocket cap and Extra Help, will remain in place.
