Week 2 of the Summer Reading Program! Talk about some messy projects (thank you volunteers for helping clean up), but the kids loved making fizzy dinosaur eggs, painting wooden dinosaurs, and eating dinosaur dirt cups!

The Midland Library hosted the first session of the Summer Reading Program yesterday! The kids created pasta T-Rex photos and pretended to be paleontologists while unearthing dinosaur fossils! They enjoyed snacking on dinosaur bones and raptor claws! There were 44 kids in attendance!

The Summer Reading Program will begin on Wednesdays in June, from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. This year‘s theme is “Unearth a Story! Who doesn’t love a dinosaur theme!

A BIG thanks to these gals for serving the Midland Community Library Soup Supper at Midland School last night!  Thanks also to everyone who made the evening a great success!  The highlight of the night was watching the Midland Tumblers perform!
