Today our American Legion Auxiliary Unit 481 mourns the loss of a remarkable woman ...our longtime President and dear friend, Kathy.

For over 20 years, Kathy led our unit with unwavering dedication, strength, and heart. She believed deeply in our mission and gave selflessly of her time and energy to support our veterans, their families, and our community.

But beyond the title of President, she was our friend. She was someone we laughed with, leaned on, and stood beside through countless meetings, events, and memories.

Her leadership shaped our unit. Her devotion strengthened our mission. Her friendship touched our lives.

Kathy’s chair may be empty, but her legacy will forever live on in Unit 481.

Service Not Self — always.
