The Aaron Estes Chapter, Midland, Tx. had a meeting on March 24th. Member, Amory Skaggs presented an informative program on her ancestor, James W. Goucher. Her mother is a prospect guest sitting beside her.
Sat. April 11, the chapter had a table at the Midland Genealogy Fair at the Centennial Library. President Geri Lilly, Historian Ann Scott, members Barbara Deaver and Laine Miller attended. we visited with 3 promising prospects.

The Aaron Estes Chapter held a gravemarking ceremony in memory of Sue Brannon on March 2 at Resthave Memorial Park. Later we met at the Haley library to present the 4th & 7th grade essay winners with an engraved medalion, certificate and a $50.00 check. The school was awarded a framed map of the Republic of Texas.

The DRT Aaron Estes Chapter of Midland hosted their annual Christmas Luncheon on Dec 3rd at the Women's Junior League. A new member induction ceremony was held. We gladly introduced 4 new members. We also had a new member that lived out of town and could not attend. The CRT Sponsor inducted a CRT member. A Christmas gift box was available for Madison Nowell and her family if any one wanted to contribute. Madison is 30 yrs old and has stage 4 breast cancer. Everyone had a great time. Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
