SEPTEMBER MGS MEETING NOTICE
Hello everyone,
I am getting this out early so as to hopefully give you enough time to remember and to plan to attend our next Off the Shelf Midland Genealogical Society get together and meeting on September 12th 10am - noon. September’s presentation will be given by Bill Robinson. I hope all of you will be able to make the meeting.
The August meeting had a good turn out. Kelly Gillett gave a presentation on her ancestor. It was very enjoyable to hear the stories she had about the family of her ancestor.
This will be an ongoing part of our meetings each month, anyone can share the story of their ancestors. Each month it will be a different person presenting. Let me know if you would like to sign up to do a presentation.
October 10th will be a presentation by Tommi Streger at our regular Society meeting.
October 16th is the 25th Annual Genealogy Lock-In. The agenda is available at the Genealogy Library, log-in information will be given once Nathan has the information available. We discussed meeting at the library for part of the Lock-In and having refreshments. November 14th we will be meeting at the Midland Historical Museum more information to come.
December 12th will be our end of the year social.
Plans for our Genealogy Faire for 2027 are starting to be discussed, please submit any ideas you have or suggestions of organizations that you things we should contact to be a part of the Faire. You can alway email me with any suggestions, ideas or possible presenters for future Society meetings.
Thank you for being a part of the Midland Genealogy Society, the meetings are open to everyone no matter where they are on their genealogy journey.
