Please keep our brothers and sisters of the Odessa Fire Department in your thoughts and prayers during this heartbreaking and difficult time. 🙏

Today, we mourn the loss of a brother who answered the call to serve and protect others. The sacrifice made by our first responders is something that can never be repaid, and the pain of losing one of our own is felt deeply throughout the entire fire service family.

Please lift up his family, loved ones, fellow firefighters, and everyone at the Odessa Fire Department as they navigate this unimaginable loss. May they find strength, comfort, and peace in the days ahead.

Rest easy, Sir. Your watch is over. Your service, courage, and sacrifice will never be forgotten.

The Greenwood Volunteer Fire Department received 62 calls for service during the month of August.

🔥 Burn Ban Reminder: As of today, Midland County is under a 90-day burn ban. Please use extreme caution with any potential sources of ignition. Conditions are very dry, and the risk of fire is high.
