This hand-carved Green Wing Teal decoy, donated by Mike Mielens, is just one of the many prizes available at the 2025 Midland Ducks Unlimited Banquet on September 11, 2025 at the Midland Holiday Inn. We have more than a dozen guns available on auctions or raffles including a Howa .300 magnum rifle, a Tristar Viper G2, an ATA Etro A2, and a 125th anniversary Wi******er Model 94 .30-30 (only 1 of 2 available in our region). Dick William's Guns will also be on hand with additional gun raffles. Numerous hunts and travel packages will be available as well. See the previous post to register. A big "Thank-you" goes out to everyone who attended our 2023 Banquet held at the Midland Holiday Inn on September 21st. It was a fun evening for everyone as we raised much needed $$$ to improve habitat for waterfowl.

It was great seeing a good number of Green Wings, as well as many new faces. Of note, area chairman Kevin Stoltz, notified those in attendance that The Midland Chapter received a Silver Exellence Award for its 2022 results. Hopefully this year will be better than the last!

Thanks goes out to Dick Williams Gun Shop for being on hand. Many people went home happy after winning a gun on the general raffles or on the gun raffles.

Dick Williams Gun Shop will be with us with a large selection of guns that will be available through card raffles.

Also note that our silent auction will include destination hunts - Pheasant Hunting in South Dakota, Heliicopter Pig Hunting in Texas, a Red Stag hunt in Argentina, and a South Africa Safari for four people. Each year, DU volunteers and staff hold more than 4,000 fundraising events across the country. By simply attending a local event, you can have a great time while helping DU fill the sky with waterfowl for future generations.
