We had so much fun working with Julia Kepler to reorganize and add some playful touches to our kids’ playroom! 💛

Play is so important—especially for children and families impacted by domestic violence. Creating a safe, welcoming space to play can help restore joy, connection, and moments of normalcy between children and their caregivers.

The Shelterhouse SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) Team is in need of tie blankets, fleece blankets or any other cozy blanket to give out to patients of all ages. Donations can be made at the Shelter or at our Shelterhouse Resale Shop on Saginaw Rd.

We are so grateful to the Midland County Farm Bureau for generously donating meat for our survivors! ♥️

We know the cost of groceries, especially meat, has continued to rise. For survivors who may be starting over and cooking for themselves for the time, this generous donation means one less thing to worry about.
