In keeping with the wishes of our Chief, Michael Sweeten II, it is an honor for Midland Rural Volunteer Fire Department
to announce the election of Shawn Shackelford as his successor.

We also wish to announce the election of our other 2024 officers:

First Annual Midland/Hartford Fire Departments Santa run this morning we were able to make multiple Christmas Present Deliveries to families in our community including the Hartford, Midland, and Sugarloaf communities. A big thank you to the Midland Dollar General for sponsoring the toy donations and thank you to everyone who donated toys to make this possible.

Come out and see us for Halloween tonight we’ll be giving out candy and hotdogs while supplies last.
