We enjoyed welcoming Frank Sheppard, CEO and Executive Director of Feeding the Valley Food Bank, as our guest speaker at Tuesday’s Kiwanis meeting!

Frank shared the important work Feeding the Valley is doing to fight hunger and make a difference in the lives of families throughout our community.

Soon our kitchen will be rocking with turkeys, it’s Big Gobble time! 🦃🦃🦃
This year, we hope to share 6,000 traditional Thanksgiving meals with seniors, homebound neighbors, veterans and people experiencing homelessness across our 18 counties.

We’ll prepare and freeze meals for Thanksgiving week, then volunteers will deliver warm meals Thanksgiving morning to neighbors who can’t heat their own.

It’s more than good food, it’s a warm reminder that someone cares. ❤️

Our Childcare Director will coordinate with schools and families to foster programming and connections as an extension of their home and classrooms. Lead a team of Afterschool and Camp counselors whileproviding care for children as young as 6 months.
