School is out. Hunger isn’t.

Our kitchen team is working full throttle from now until school starts again in August. They will be providing up to 5,000 Kids Cafe meals a day for children in our communities. Summertime means expanding this program as much as we possibly can.

No child should ever be hungry.

School is out and many families are ready for vacations and fun, but for some kids, summer means wondering where their next meal will come from.

The energy at South Commons is amazing as the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Softball Championship brings teams from across the country to our community! 🥎

Before stepping onto the field, these student-athletes stepped up to serve. We were happy to welcome volunteers from Madonna University and The College of Idaho, who spent time giving back right here at Feeding the Valley.

Not only did they work hard helping our neighbors facing hunger, there was plenty of laughter, teamwork, and fun along the way. By the end of the day, they were definitely our superheroes!

When Cub Scout Pack 169 Midland heard we were facing a food shortage, they jumped into action to help our neighbors in need. These amazing scouts held a food drive and collected more than 150 pounds of food items including mac and cheese, tuna, cereal, rice, and canned soups!

We are so grateful for their kindness, generosity, and servant hearts. It’s inspiring to see young people making such a big impact in our community. Thank you, Cub Scout Pack 169 Midland, for helping bring hope and nourishment to families facing hunger!
