We are the center for powered light flying in Northern Virginia, USA. If you are new to light flying, this is the place to see real aircraft and talk to live people. If you're an old hand, this is the place to share your experience and promote safe flying. Either way, this is where you can plug into the local networks you need to make recreational lig

ht flying in Northern Virginia a part of your life. We have regular monthly meetings year-round - at Centreville High School in the winter and at the Warrenton Airpark in the summer, in addition to several flying events throughout the year.

Fellow members and friends of Flying Club One,

If you have been wanting to learn to fly but have been waiting for the Club's flying program, that day has come.

We have a flying program!

You can get your Sport Pilot license flying this Quad City Challenger out of the Horse Feathers grass field (53VA) with CFI Esteban Bonilla. Not only do you get the Challenger - which is way more fun than a Cessna - you also get grass field flying and the lowest cost you will find anywhere.

Winter? Not a problem. Dress warmly. I know people who've earned their licenses over the winter.
