here's a bit of an update. Plus thankfully our shipment of critical supplies are already being targeted for Jeremie and Jacmel - hit hard by the quake. Thanks to our Docs in PAP.

Shipping to Haiti during COVID was a massive challenge. Then it arrived in port the eve of the assassination, and then finally got to our docs (thanks to help from Partners in Health!!) 4 days before the earthquake! Supplies needed now more than ever! Vaccinations have finally reached Haiti! This is one of our docs getting vaccinated as a first responder. He will help vaccinate others.

It is with deep sadness that I have to share that our friend and colleague in Haiti, Dr. Cephora Anglade, lost her battle with COVID last evening and died. Haiti is still without vaccines, Oxygen, and suffering deep civil unrest ... the doctors and nurses are dying trying to help their people.

We have a load of PPE enroute, but US govt so far is blocking vaccines. Many are working on this; hopefully a plan is near. Your support is always deeply appreciated.

My friends in Haiti are getting hit hard by Covid just as we open the 2020 hurricane season. They are in urgent need of supplies to protect themselves and their patients.

After morning work outs, members of the amazing SVSU Cardinal football team led by my favorite coach, Mac Carruth, came to my rescue today. Jalani, Cam, Nysir and Aaron organized donations IWISH received from our loyal friend Marc Passino at Covenant Healthcare (who never laughs at my truck driving skillls😳) and then filled the rest of the truck with gynecological equipment donated by my favorite CEO, Clarence Sevillian, from McLaren Bay Region. Dave and the team from Tri-City Moving in Auburn graciously squeezed us in between their scheduled moves in midland so we had the right equipment to get things urgently onto the truck without injuring these talented athletes or our new equipment.

Recognizing that between Covid, political and flood challenges, people have been hit hard in our communities as well, but if you too are feeling blessed, please consider donating what you can to support our purchase of ultrasound, anesthesia, pediatric and surgical equipment for these Haitian care providers, who truly are my Heroes!

Dr Dree is now in Haiti working with our colleagues in Port Au Prince. Several of these wonderful dedicated doctors are working to build a private hospital to serve women and children in a particularly hard hit and deeply under-served area of PAP.
