Enjoy healthy eating on a tight budget!
This six week class for caregivers will meet Thursdays beginning September 22 from 5:30-7:00pm through a partnership with Penn State Extension, Hope House & The Center.
All participants will receive cooking tools, recipes & all ingredients each week.

You are invited to a FREE 4-session cooking class. We are going to focus on basic cooking skills, meal planning and budgeting. During our time together we will prepare a meal, and while it is cooking we will go over some basic tips & tricks to utilize in the kitchen. The prepared food will be sampled and the remainder will be given to people within our community that need meals due to surgery, illness, or other extenuating circumstances. After each session, you will be given the meal recipe and ingredients so you can go home and re-create it for you, your family and friends, or neighbors in need.
Please RSVP (text, FB message or reply to this post) ASAP as there are only 6 spots open. Feel free to invite a friend. It is first come first serve but if you don’t get in this time, we will be having more classes in the future. Can’t make it this time? Let me know you are interested and I will be sure to include you on future cooking class invites.

Owen Grubbs' Eagle Scout project has been successfully completed. He installed a playset, retaining wall with gravel, two garden beds, and a picnic table in the backyard of the Hope House. Thanks to Owen and several volunteers, many women and children experiencing homelessness will be welcomed into a safe space where they can enjoy the outdoors.

It’s here! Today is , the international day of giving. A day when you can make a difference for women and children experiencing homelessness.

Your dollars will go to work right HERE in our community of Beaver County. You’ll provide nutritious meals, nights of safe shelter, access to resources needed to grow out of homelessness, and faith-based guidance to help rebuild lives after another year filled with hardships.

We are a Christ-centered 501c3 nonprofit and thus receive no government funding. That is why our donors are so valuable and are making a big impact in the lives of those we serve.

Owen is currently in the process of completing his Eagle Scout project to transform the backyard of Hope House. All proceeds from the Cocktail Reception will go to Hope House whose mission is to equip and empower women (and children) who need shelter, resources, and Hope in Christ.
Hope House is a faith based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The house is located in the Borough of Midland, a small town in Beaver County, Pennsylvania. Our guests will utilize county programs, services, and opportunities that will assist them in finding housing and meet other critical needs. In addition to meeting physical needs, we will daily, in word and deed, share the Good News of Jesus Christ.
As a non-profit organization, we rely on the generosity of the community. Along with in-kind donations, volunteers, and prayer, we depend on financial donations. Financial donations allow us to provide our guests with free shelter, food, and personal care items as well as cover the costs of our daily operations.
This past year has proven to be one of unprecedented change around the world. Change that has deeply impacted our lives, communities and the beneficiaries we serve. Our commitment to provide shelter and resources for women and children is more vital now than ever before.
