The Midland Downtown Lions Club is getting ready to start our summer water service project! We will be at Dennis the Menace from 7pm-8pm on Mondays.
1. Come join us, meet some members, and see what we're about! We would love to meet you and learn about your heart for the community and your heart for service. There is a place for you in the Lions.
2. If you would like to donate water or funds for our mission or other mission projects, we typically give out 80 bottles of water a week throughout the summer in just ONE hour! We would love to partner with the community on this project.
To donate either:
-We will have a meeting at our clubhouse (200 Plaza St., the Old Hodge Theatre) on Wednesday 6/3 from 12pm-1pm. Feel free to stop by and drop off any water you'd like. You would also be welcome to join us for our meeting, eat some lunch, and learn more about what we do.

If water isn't the right option for you, then ask me about our other projects and ways to serve, such as:
-The Texas Lions Eyeglass Recycling Center
-Creating first aid and self-care kits to donate within the community, to our service men, and to any other places that have a need.
-Texas Lions Camp in Kerrville
-Building maintenance and repair for the Hodge
You do not have to attend all of our meetings in order to be a member. I know that doesn't fit in everyone's schedule, but there are so many opportunities to serve as a Lion. I would love to talk more about what your membership and service can look like.
