Alexis,

I love you. You came to me by chance (actually purposed) five years ago. And honestly- I thought you were just going to help with that event that one night and life would continue. But you did so well and our energy aligned so perfectly- I asked you to stay on the team. I’m so glad I did. You have become little sis and I truly have enjoyed watching you grow spiritually, artistically, and emotionally. You’ve literally grown right in front of me and alongside me.

Saturday-you said you’re forever yes to your best friend. And it was absolutely glorious to witness. Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your special day. I don’t take it lightly. All these years- prepared us for a moment like that. We’ve gotten so close. We’ve traveled all over Michigan together, stayed in hotels, discovered new coffee places, laughed till we cried, and shared The Breaking Bread Village’s story. You’ve seen me in spaces everyone doesn’t have access to. Before a big talk. Prepping my mind going down the highway. Recovering from soul stirring moments- after a child takes me to the side to share something vulnerable after I talked to a crowd. You’ve seen me stay strong until I get to the car. And then I cry because I didn’t want them to know their story broke me. I’m grateful for all those moments.

I’m also grateful that along the way you’ve brought people from your life into my life. People like Chris. I love him and I’m so happy for you both.

Keep shining! Keep being the beautiful soul and extraordinary wildflower that you are. I pray that blessings upon blessings continue to pour on you. And that more goodness comes to you than not. I truly am grateful that you were placed on my path. And I wish you many many many more days of bliss- like you experienced on Saturday. If anyone deserves it- it’s you!

And then yesterday evening I got to help our wonderful photographer and now fam and her soon to be hubby get ready for their big day today!! We’re so happy to support and love on them. Alexis and Chris we love you!🙏🏾😘

BULLOCK CREEK HIGH SCHOOL! 🥳Thank you for investing in your students and believing in us! Thanks for inviting us to share our Heart of Leadership 4- Week experience! We’ve already completed week 2 and I now have about 30 new besties!😂

We’re excited for next week! Can’t wait to see all their faces and share space with some of the best!😊

Yayyyyy!!! I’m so proud of what was accomplished tonight! Another great CREATIVITY CONTEST reception! With even more art submissions and attendees this year I feel so grateful that the word got out. And people wanted to share a story through their art!

The theme this year was Humanity Unites Us All! And the creativity that went into sharing that message was phenomenal and moving!

We had all ages and backgrounds submit art! Longtime artists and first time creators! And we were wowed by them all!

Thanks to the Creativity Contest team, Public Art Midland, Paper Heart Design, Creative 360, Grace A Dow Library, Sergeys, Live Oak Coffeehouse and all the artists for making this year the success it was!

And bonus thanks to all the parents, guardians, family, siblings, art teachers, and everyone else that encouraged and supported all the artists! Their love and encouragement helped in many ways!

Hopefully next year is even better, bigger, and more glorious!!!❤️💜
