We’ve been a little quiet the last few days thanks to some technical difficulties, but we are BACK and ready to finish strong!

THE FINAL 19 | Day 8: GRATITUDE
19 Days of Recovery, Out Loud.

Today, recovery out loud sounds a lot like THANK YOU!

Thriving United was never built by one person, one program, or one organization. It was built through people choosing to believe in people .

We are grateful for our community partners who opened doors, shared resources, collaborated with us, invited us into spaces, and trusted us to serve alongside them.

We are grateful for our Board of Directors who gave their time, leadership, guidance, and heart to this mission.

We are grateful for every donor, supporter, volunteer, and community member who invested in the work because you believed recovery was worth investing in.

And we are deeply grateful for our team. The people who showed up at community events, taught classes, answered phones, distributed Narcan, advocated in courtrooms, walked beside families, supported residents, sat across from people during some of the hardest days of their lives, celebrated victories, carried boxes, cleaned floors, laughed together, cried together, and kept showing up. Together, we were given the incredible privilege of serving this community. And what a privilege it was.

We didn’t just live these moments, we have the memories and the relationships, partnerships, laughter, service, teamwork, and thousands of moments where people came together around one belief:

Recovery is possible.

As we look back, there is sadness because this chapter is ending: But there is also so much celebration. Because we got to be here. We got to serve. We got to walk beside incredible people. We got to witness lives change. And we got to do it together. To every person, organization, board member, donor, partner, volunteer, supporter, and team member who became part of the Thriving United story:

Thank you for carrying hope with us.

Buildings may close. But the relationships built, the seeds planted, the lives touched, and the hope carried forward do not disappear with the keys.

The impact lives on in people. And that may be one of the greatest legacies of all.

Recovery People. Community. Change Forever. Always a part of the story.

THE FINAL 19 | DAY #11: RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE

We started this path with words like:

Hurt.
Stuck.
Addiction.
Shame.
Isolation.
Hopeless.

And look where the path has taken us.

Treatment.
Peer support.
Safe housing.
Opportunity.
Reunification.
Employment.
Leadership.
A brighter tomorrow.

Each step matters. Each step tells part of the story. And at the end of it all is the truth Thriving United has always believed:

RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE.

Not because recovery is easy. Not because every story follows the same path. And not because a building stays open forever. Recovery is possible because hope gets carried. By peers who once needed help and later became the ones giving it. By team members willing to sit in the hard moments, advocate in courtrooms, celebrate tiny wins, sweep floors, make phone calls, and remind someone that "You are still worth fighting for". By moms who get their children back. By people who find housing, employment, purpose, and belonging.

By a community willing to say:

“We Walk Together.”

These may be our final 19 days of Recovery Month as Thriving United. But they are nowhere near the final stories. The building may close. The programs may end. But every person who carries hope forward becomes part of what comes next.

Buildings close. Hope doesn’t.

Recovery is possible.
And the story keeps going. 💜
