This scholarship honors the legacy of a coach, mentor, and servant leader who impacted countless young lives through sports, faith, and character.

💰 $500 per semester for your first year of college

Congratulations to Jamar Shields, the Class of 2025 recipient of the Tammy Whiteside Memorial Scholarship. Jamar graduated from Legacy High School, where he was a 2 year letterman varsity basketball player. He will attend Texas Tech University in the fall, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Jamar, is very active in his community and was part of the Mr. & Mrs. Juneteenth 2025. Good luck on your new journey, Jamar. Best wishes.
