🚗 Travel Tip: Stay on Hwy 80 and exit at FM 1788. This is the easiest and quickest route to MSA. Once you arrive, simply follow the signs to the shotgun range.

⚠️ Membership in 4-H is required to participate.

👕 Required Attire for All Practices:
✔️ Mandatory eye protection
✔️ Shirts with sleeves
✔️ Closed-toe shoes
✔️ Caps or hats are encouraged for extra safety and sun protection

👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Parents must remain on the premises during practice.

Whether you're new to shooting sports or already experienced, the Gunsmoke Shooting Team is a great place to learn firearm safety, improve your skills, build confidence, and have fun with fellow 4-H members.

🍀 Midland County 4-H End-of-Year Awards Reminder 🍀

Our Midland County 4-H End-of-Year Awards Program will be held on Monday, August 10th during the monthly Community Club meeting.

If you would like to receive a 4-H Project Pin for projects you participated in this year, please complete the form below and select the project pins you would like to receive.

Please make sure to complete the form by the deadline so we can ensure project pins are ordered and available for the awards program.

Quality Counts is now OPEN for all youth who need to complete the course for the first time or renew their certification for the upcoming show season.

✅ Important Reminder

Exhibitors only need to complete Quality Counts once per grade division:
• Junior: Grades 3–5
• Intermediate: Grades 6–8
• Senior: Grades 9–12

📌 Who Needs to Complete It?

As you prepare for the upcoming year, please check your status and make sure the following youth are certified:
• Youth new to livestock projects
• Exhibitors who have moved into a new grade division

🐄 Why It Matters

Quality Counts certification is REQUIRED for:
✔ All Texas Major Livestock Shows
✔ Midland County Stock Show

➡️ Your verification number must be entered when submitting show entries

📢 Cattle Validation Information 📢
Validation will be on Tuesday, June 23rd at 7:30 AM
📍 12501 E. County Rd. 120
Once you turn east County Rd. 120, it will be approximately 1.5 miles down on the left-hand side of the road. Please look for the red cattle pens.
