We are proud to support Bay Shore Camp’s Paradigm Shift project!

As Bay Shore Camp adapts to the evolving needs of today’s families and campers, the organization is transitioning to a more consistent, staff-led summer programming model focused on character development, mentorship, and equipping youth for lifelong growth.

This grant will help Bay Shore expand and update critical safety and operating equipment for its climbing walls and zip line, including harnesses, helmets, ropes, carabiners, trolleys, and other essential hardware. With a consistent team of trained staff operating these adventure activities throughout the summer, more campers will have the opportunity to safely participate in experiences designed to build confidence, resilience, teamwork, and character.

We’re honored to support organizations like Bay Shore Camp that are making meaningful investments in the next generation!

Thank you to our friends at the Bay Area Chamber of Commerce for joining us at tonight’s Great Lakes Loons game to receive a 2026 Michigan Baseball Foundation grant supporting the Play it Forward, Tot Spot project.

This incredible project will create Bay City’s first fully fenced play area designed specifically for children ages 4 and under at Wenonah Park. The space will feature age-appropriate play equipment, sensory elements, a crawl tunnel, and more, giving families a safe and welcoming place to play, learn, and connect.

We’re proud to support projects that make a lasting impact in our community.

One of our recent grant recipients, Phoenix Community Farm, is expanding hands-on Agriscience education for Windover High School students with a new 30’ x 72’ greenhouse that extends the growing season. This greenhouse will provide students with the chance to learn winter growing, propagation, pest management, sales, and farm business skills, all while using the farm as their classroom.

We’re honored to help bring initiatives like this to life.

Have a project that could benefit from MBF funding? Grant applications are open through THIS FRIDAY. We encourage you to apply and make an impact in our community 👉 michiganbaseballfoundation.org/grants

We were proud to award a grant to the Saginaw YMCA and YMCA Camp Timbers to support new high adventure safety equipment 🧗‍♂️

This funding helped replace aging sit-harnesses with full-body climbing harnesses for Camp Timbers’ climbing tower, zip lines, and high ropes course, enhancing safety, improving fit, and making it easier for campers to gear up with confidence.

These upgrades ensured campers stayed secure and upright while participating in summer camps and school field trips, meeting the highest safety standards recommended by industry professionals.

Are you a nonprofit with a project that could benefit our community? Grant applications are now open, and we’re looking to fund 501(c)(3) organizations completing capital projects. Help us spread the word by sharing with nonprofits who may be a good fit. Learn more at michiganbaseballfoundation.org/grants
