Mid-Michigan Music Teachers Association

Mid-Michigan Music Teachers Association Mid-Michigan MTA serves the greater Midland area, including Mt. Pleasant, Alma, and other nearby locations.

We are the local chapter of the Michigan Music Teachers Association our state’s affiliate for the Music Teachers National Association. Mid-Michigan MTA is an organization of music teachers who live in and around Midland, Michigan. The activities of the Mid-Michigan MTA are for charitable purposes, in order to promote and encourage the understanding, appreciation, and study of the art of music, and

to elevate the economic and artistic standards of teachers of music and to promote a closer professional community. Our purpose is to promote the professional development of MidlandMTA members through meetings, workshops, recitals, etc. We also provide opportunities for our students to excel in their music through examinations, competitions and recitals.

KeyboardFest! KeyboardFest! KeyboardFest! Coming up at 7 pm on January 11th at Midland Center for the Arts. It is the 34th year!!!!! Yes. Not joking. We take pride in what we do during this unique event in Michigan. Please come and join us for an evening filled with fun piano duet music played by students and teachers of the Mid-Michigan area.
