Learning Agriculture in Ireland! ๐ฎ๐ช๐
Our FFA members had an incredible opportunity to explore Ireland through the lens of agriculture, where heritage, sustainability, hands-on learning, and culture came together!
From the celebrated equestrian tradition of the Irish National Stud Farm to working cattle and dairy farms, students experienced Irish agriculture firsthand. By helping with daily farm tasks and talking with local farmers, they gained a deeper understanding of farm life, agricultural stewardship, and the important role farming plays in Irish communities. ๐๐๐ฅ
Along Irelandโs western coast, students discovered that agriculture extended beyond the land through oyster farming experiences, learning how marine resources, innovation, and sustainability contributes to Irelandโs agricultural economy. ๐ฆช๐
And, of course, no trip to Ireland is complete without experiencing its incredible landscapes, including the breathtaking Cliffs of Moher! ๐
This trip was more than sightseeing, it was an opportunity for students to learn, experience, ask questions, and see agriculture from a whole new perspective.
